News Headline Summary
US FIXED INCOME WRAP
T-notes finished the session with minor gains, in a quiet session as market participants awaited USD 21bln in 10yr issuance. In terms of the note auction, results were relatively lackluster, with weaker demand along and the yield tailing by 0.8BPS. In response to the US auction 10yr futures moved 3 ticks lower, however this was short-lived as historically 10yr auctions tend to be less than impressive than 3s the day before. Out-performance was notable in the belly of the curve, with 2/5/30s finishing down 2.5bps. At the pit close t-notes settled at 132.01+ up 6 ticks.
