Equities finished the session in positive territory, following a relatively quiet trading day as US participants look forward to the US presidential election results. Despite the positive closes for the three major indices, underperformance was observed in the NASDAQ 100 due to poor earnings from the likes of Express Scripts (-12.30%) and Fossil (-10.50%). In terms of the sector break down, all 10 sectors finished in the green lead by the oil & gas sector coinciding with the out performance in the energy complex. Finally, the DJIA finished up 1.02% at 13245.68 the S&P 500 finished up 0.79% at 1428.39 and the NASDAQ 100 finished up 0.30% at 2681.05.
