News Headline Summary
UK 10y inflation linked Gilt yield falls to record low of -0.99% after the ONS said earlier (0700GMT) that UK will continue to publish RPI, formula will not change
Update details:
- It was widely expected that the ONS will bring RPI into line with CPI, tightening the spread between the calculations, which could cut RPI by up to 1%. However today's decision means that there will be no impact on holders of RPI linked Gilts.
