NEWS Over the squawk the desk pointed out a large move to the downside in Gold futures at the Comex open at 13:20GMT, moving around USD 26 from 1735 to USD 1709. The move was attributed to the November futures Gold contract expiring today. Yesterday Dec Gold options expired. Coinciding with Gold weakness, the USD index is trading around highs up 0.25%. Some large stops went through in Gold futures with around 35K sold from 1735 to 1711, equivalent to 3.2mln ounces.
REACTION: This move in Gold caused a knock on effect to other asset classes; E-Mini S&P moved from 1393 down to 1391, T-notes moved up to 133.31 from 133.29+, in FX the USD index gained 0.05%.

NEWS: UPS (UPS) are said to be weighing network sharing with rivals in order to save the TNT Express (TNTE NA) deal amid EU antitrust concerns, according to three people familar with the talks
