- At the moment Greek banks do not enough eligible collateral to submit to the ECB in return for cash and hence will only be able to raise about EUR 3.5bln in order to buy the Greek T-Bill issues this week to cover Greece's financing gap.
- There has been speculation that the ECB will broaden collateral rules for Greek banks in order for them to be able to raise enough cash to buy EUR 5bln at the offering tomorrow.
